Myofascial Release is a very effective technique for relieving pain from the body. Working with the body’s main connective tissue, fascia, can create more ease, range of motion and healthy balance in the body. Facia is manipulated, directly or indirectly, allowing the connective tissue fibers to reorganize themselves in a more flexible. The result is less pain. Because Fascia is located on many levels of body tissue, from between the skin and the underlying structure of muscle and bone, it creates a seamless web of connective tissue that covers and connects the muscles, organs, and skeletal structures. When this system of support and strength is impeded by pain, trauma, strain or tension the body is unable to perform and cope with internal and external stressors. The goal of myofascial release is to work with fascia restrictions in order to restore its tissue health.

Cranial Sacral Therapy
This gentle manual technique focuses restoring balance within the cranial sacral system. This system is a physiological system like the cardiovascular and respiratory systems and is found in the spaces of the head and spinal cord. Cranial Sacral Therapy seeks to restore the natural rhythmic movement of the cerebral spinal fluid found between the bones of the skull, vertebra and sacrum. This technique aids the body in recovery from trauma to the spine and head, such as whiplash, and gives a highly effective alternative for people who may not need or want a muscularly based body treatment.
Muscular Therapy is a widely used and proven technique for addressing the whole boy’s muscular and connective tissue tension. Because muscle and connective tissue make up so much of the body’s overall structure, any imbalance or injury in the body's soft tissue-can have a dramatic affect on the body’s overall comfort, wellness and health. Muscular therapy uses pressure, stretching techniques, evaluations of tissues in order to restore ease in the body, promote oxygenation of the body’s soft tissues, and less pain from over use or tension.
Injury related tension massage focuses on acute and chronic conditions related to trauma and injury to the body. The therapist works to understand how trauma has entered into the body, what tissues are directly and indirectly affected by the trauma and finally how the body is going to allow for the trauma to be released. This technique allows for circulation, conditioning, and rejuvenation of soft tissue within areas that are most affected. This technique requires at least three sessions, since each session focuses on different goals as well as building on any changes and benefits of previous treatments.
